Free social action training for primary schools (Somerset)

Overview

If you’re a primary teacher or a school based in Somerset and interested in supporting young children and people to tackle community space issues, then join us in a free online training session on Tuesday 19th September 3–5pm where we will:

  • Discover what ingredients make a great social action project
  • Discuss the benefits of social action for all involved: children, the community, and schools
  • Explore the community space issues faced by children growing up in your area
  • Be inspired by other youth projects

If you are considering a social action project in your school during the Autumn Term (in curriculum time, as an after-school club, or even a one-off drop-down day), you could become a Turn the Tide project group with free access to our Make a Difference Challenge training and resources online!

Young people will be able to tackle a variety of community space issues, giving them life and employability skills to influence decisions in their community.
