Young Citizens is looking for a Partnerships Coordinator

Looking for the next step in your career progression and the opportunity to work for a dynamic charity that shapes young people's lives, boosts social mobility and strengthens society? Read on!

Young Citizens helps young people become active, engaged and motivated citizens, who can contribute positively to their communities – whether those communities are local, national or global. We believe that by helping young people play a full part in their communities, we can help strengthen democratic society.

The Partnerships Coordinator plays an instrumental role in the delivery of Young Citizens work with its varied partners: corporates, professional bodies, funders, schools, universities and individual donors. The post-holder supports the Partnership Manager to implement initiatives to increase visibility and interest in our work. The role involves cultivating relationships with our Experts in Schools partners and other organisations that align to our mission and values.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join us and play an important role within the Partnerships Team at a exciting time in our organisation's history. You’ll need to be driven by a passion for citizenship education and partnership working to make a difference to the lives of our beneficiaries and volunteers.

In return we offer a varied and challenging role working in a supportive and flexible work environment. We also offer a great employee package including 28 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), 8% employer pension contribution, volunteer leave and your birthday off!

The job description, person specification and how to apply can be found in the Recruitment Pack.

Closing date for applications: 9am, 6th May 2021.

Interviews will be held on 13th and 14th May 2021. (In person or online tbc)

If you would like an informal discussion about this opportunity with our Partnerships Manager, please contact Therri Tait ([email protected] or 0207 566 4141).

If you have not heard from us within 7 working days after the closing date, it means your application was not shortlisted on this occasion. However, this should not detract you from applying for other suitable opportunities.

Please note that Young Citizens is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people that we work with and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
