Young Citizens has assembled an expert panel of legal professionals to discuss the role of public legal education in schools and how to unlock its potential.

Recent research by Law for Life has shown that our country has a poor grasp of the rights, responsibilities and regulations upheld by our legal system. Only 25% of people claim to know their legal position completely when they experience a legal problem, and nearly two-thirds of the UK are “unaware of basic legal rights or the processes by which they are enforced”.
Young Citizens CEO Ashley Hodges will lead the discussion, asking who is responsible for legal literacy and exploring why it is so important.
