In June 2022, The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service. We have created a new suite of resources to help your pupils explore who the Queen is and what her role involves.
Learning about the head of state is a key part of teaching SMSC, PSHE and British Values. The lesson plans for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 will explore how and why we celebrate the Platinum Jubilee and get your pupils thinking about the life of a monarch.
