Young Trustee
Mitchell is an Inclusion Specialist at A&O Shearman (an international law firm), where he partners with employee networks and leadership to foster inclusive culture across the firm through programmes, events, communications, reporting and policy development.
Before his current role, Mitchell worked across A&O Shearman’s Social Impact and Environmental Sustainability teams, qualifying as a Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner through the apprenticeship pathway and gaining hands-on experience in community investment, charity partnerships and grants administration — including direct involvement with Young Citizens as a grantee of the A&O Shearman Foundation. He has also helped to facilitate public legal education corporate volunteering workshops in partnership with the charity.
Mitchell brings to the Board a genuine passion for equipping young people with the skills and confidence needed to participate actively in democracy and civic life, alongside practical experience in inclusive governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management and driving meaningful positive social impact.
