Youth Consultation Lead
Stephanie joined Young Citizens in August 2023 as the Youth Consultation Lead. She will conduct research with young people and children in schools to ensure the proactive inclusion of youth voices in future projects and partnerships, with the aim of producing an impact report. Having previously volunteered with young people at organisations such as the Literacy Pirates and Childhood Trust, she has a passion for improving the quality of education in the UK and alleviating the lived experience of childhood poverty and deprivation. Prior to Young Citizens, Stephanie completed her master’s in social psychology, with a focus on the causes of strike action within the higher education sector, and worked in the start-up sector as a Psychology Researcher. She is committed to enshrining a people-centred approach in her work and, in so doing, amplifying underrepresented voices.
