Thrisha Haldar

Thrisha Haldar is Lead Executive at Indigo Trust and the Alan and Babette Sainsbury Family Charitable Fund. Throughout her career leading charities working across a range of social justice issues, she has been a vocal advocate for democratising decision-making and ensuring that ordinary people have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their lives.

Prior to her current roles, Thrisha led small grassroots charities focused on mental health, migrant women’s rights and community cohesion. She has also worked internationally, including as a human rights researcher at BBC Media Action.

Thrisha is an experienced trustee across both frontline charities and infrastructure organisations. Most recently, she served as Vice Chair of 360Giving, where she championed open data standards to support better, more informed grant-making. She has recently joined the board of Funders Together, continuing her commitment to evidence-based collaboration and to ensuring that resources reach more people, more equitably.
