The Big Legal Lesson 2026: get involved

Deliver an inspiring lesson about the law this year.

Youth trust in law-makers and the legal justice system is at an all time low. That’s why we want all pupils in England and Wales to experience a lesson about the law in 2026 as they join The Big Legal Lesson.

To help you, we are providing a free lesson plan and assembly pack that introduces legal concepts in an age-appropriate way – whether you are in a primary school, secondary school or sixth-form college.

Pledge your school’s commitment below and we will email you links to The Big Legal Lesson resource pack in January 2026.

Please include a space in your postcode e.g. YC1 2CY

We may send you occasional email communications about our education programmes and resources, but you can opt out at any time using the links in our emails or by getting in touch: info@youngcitizens.org.
