The Head of Partnerships and Engagement role is a chance to join the charity’s senior leadership team and progress to a Director role after the first year.

You will be joining an ambitious UK education charity that ensures young people are prepared to thrive as confident, informed and engaged citizens. We help young people have a sense of ownership and confidence in shaping their community and society, to create a more just and fair society and stronger democracy.

The aim of the role is to drive our business development through leading the orchestration of how the charity approaches partnership working at the highest level alongside sector profile and credibility building with strong oversight of communication activities that align across all our teams.

An ability to cohesively deploy, plan and lead our communication functions and maximise our charity’s partnership opportunities, and how these are strategically structured, will be essential for this role.

With the vision of our new Chief Executive, we are aiming to build on our strong foundation of quality corporate programmes and create a wider offer that engages partners of all types across our partners – from courts to school networks, as well as companies.

This role will support our programme teams and work with the SLT to look after the culmination of these priority areas for the charity that results in more opportunities, boosted credibility and strong partnership ways of working.

We are looking for a skilled relationship manager capable of working in collaboration across our programme teams to develop the charity’s sector offering and partnership opportunities alongside aligned communication strategies that support organisational growth, profile and reputation. You will also work towards improving our educational impact as well as developing network growth that drives successful fundraising.
