Recruiting: Learning Resources Coordinator

Young Citizens helps to equip and inspire young people to take their place in society as engaged and active citizens. Formerly known as the Citizenship Foundation, we’re an education charity which has been making a difference for 30 years; helping young people develop the skills and confidence to play an active part in society and to understand the laws, rights and responsibilities which affect its citizens.

We believe passionately in democracy as the best means to create a fair, just, and equal society. In the current climate – with democracy under pressure from many directions – our work has never been more important.

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Resources Coordinator who will play an integral role within the Learning and Programmes Team primarily through supporting the development of Young Citizens resources for primary schools.

The post-holder will be responsible for reviewing and updating the content of our flagship primary school website, Go-Givers. As such they will play a major role in ensuring we meet our ambitious targets of recruiting more than two hundred new primary school subscribers and increasing our retention rates for existing subscribers.

The job description and person specification is detailed in the Learning Resources Coordinator recruitment pack.

To apply, please submit a copy of your latest CV and a covering letter showing how you meet the requirements of the role.

The closing date for applications is 5pm, 11th February 2019. Interviews will take place on 20th February.
