Recruiting: Programmes Coordinator

Young Citizens is looking for a new Programmes Coordinator

Young Citizens’ Programmes Coordinators are central to the organisation as they deliver our programmes. They play a major part in helping us to meet our target of working with half of UK schools, 10,000 intermediaries, and impacting 200,000 young people each year; and in helping us achieve our financial targets.

This role will be particularly focused on delivering the Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition which is celebrating its 25th birthday this year, as well as one of our newer initiatives – our Student Workshops on the law and other topical issues. As the range of our programmes is constantly evolving, you may also be involved in delivering other programmes as needs change.

Programmes Coordinators are expected to help with innovation – keeping current citizenship programme products up to date, and developing new ones to meet new demands. They will also help with monitoring and evaluating their programmes according to our standard evaluation criteria.

The job description and person specification can be found in the Recruitment Pack.

To apply for this exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic charity, please send an up-to-date copy of your CV, and a personal statement detailing how you meet the person specification. Please note CV’s without a cover letter will not be considered. These documents should be sent to recruitmentHR@youngcitizens.org.

The closing date for applications is 9am, 18th March 2019, with interviews taking place on Wednesday 20th March.

Young Citizens offer generous employee benefits package including an 8% employer pension contribution, 28 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) and volunteering leave.
