The Law & Public Legal Education

See that students know their rights, understand their responsibilities and can navigate confidently through the legal system, knowing when and where to ask for help and further advice.

Britain's future depends on empowering the next generation with the skills, knowledge and confidence to engage in society today.

Young Citizens is an education charity working in primary and secondary schools across the UK to help educate, inspire and equip the active citizens of tomorrow. In our thirty-year history, we have mobilised more than 300,000 young people to take social action, engaged over 150,000 young people in understanding the law and the legal system and reached over 1 million young people with our citizenship programmes and classroom resources.
