Young Citizens is looking for Corporate Partnerships Manager who thrives at the intersection of driving relationships, strategic engagement, business nous and zeroing in on strategic alignment to create partnerships that make an impact for young people.
Your purpose is to grow the partnerships and income that enable Young Citizens to equip more children and young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to become active citizens.
You’ll build and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, trusts, foundations and other supporters, securing sustainable income and creating shared value. Through excellent relationship management, compelling fundraising propositions and effective stewardship, you’ll help increase Young Citizens’ reach, profile and long-term impact.

This job is for you if:
- You have a proven track record of securing income through corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, major donors, sponsorship or business development.
- You have experience managing and growing relationships with senior stakeholders or funders.
- You are comfortable writing funding proposals, partnership pitches or grant applications.
- You have strong pipeline management experience and are comfortable using CRM systems.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can influence, negotiate and build long-term partnerships.
- You have strong organisational skills and can manage competing priorities effectively.
- You have commercial awareness and can identify and convert opportunities.
- You understand fundraising regulation, GDPR and data protection.
- You have a proactive, entrepreneurial and collaborative approach.
- You enjoy contributing to strategy, business development and organisational growth.
