Overview
During this assembly pupils will learn about World Female Ranger Day. Pupils will explore where the continent of Africa is and learn about its unique wildlife, and why it needs protecting and conserving. They will explore the role of rangers, considering what skills and qualities a ranger needs.
You can find the ‘World Female Ranger Day’ lesson plan on the KS1 lesson page. The PowerPoint for the lesson is the same as this assembly. The lesson plan includes a number of follow-up activities you can carry out in class.
